WELCOME TO Grade 8 - Illustrative Mathematics!!!!!!!

This site is intended to keep students and parents up-to-date with what is going on in our classroom.

About me

This is my eighteenth year teaching in the Wilson School District and this is my twelfth year teaching 8th graders at Southern Middle School.  This is the fifth year I will be teaching the Illustrative Math - Grade 8 program.  In previous years I taught Algebra 1B here at Southern as well as CP Geometry, CP Algebra II, Algebra I, and Algebra Standards at the High School.

My interests outside of school include spending time with my grandkids, dance, working out, hiking in the great outdoors, sewing and other crafts. I grew up in Bucks County, PA and spent a few years in Delaware County, PA.  Once obtaining my original position at Wilson Central Junior High, I moved to Sinking Spring and then to Chester County, PA about 14 years ago when I purchased my first home.

I have met so many wonderful people here at Wilson and am looking forward to another great year at Southern!
