How to narrate a Google Slideshow using Screencast-o-matic  (

1. Follow video in Step 1 below. In the SHARE domain you can save your recordings right to your Google Drive.  In the LEARN domain you will need to save it to your hard drive and then upload the file to your Google Drive (Click on NEW, then upload file).

2. If you want to narrate the complete slide show, you would just click through each slide as you are recording it. The whole recording would be one mp4 video of the narrated slideshow that can be played as a movie.

3. Another option could be to just record a few videos for a few slides and then once they are in your drive, you can insert them on the proper slide. You would click on insert> video>then browse to the video that you uploaded to your drive.
