Embed Scratch 3

How to embed your project in your website

Create a new page and name it after your project.

In the Scratch website, save your project, then click "Share."

Now click "See Project Page." Copy the link at the lower right of your project page. It looks like this:

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/279170485

Back on your website's new page, under "Insert," click "Embed" <>. You are embedding "by URL."

Now paste the link you just copied from your project page on Scratch.

Type the word "embed" at the end of the link. Now it looks like this:

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/279170485/embed

Click "Insert."

Now that you've embedded the project, and added instructions in a text box, it's time to publish!

  • Click "Publish" on top right.
  • With the tiny triangle by the Publish button, View the published site.
  • At the top, copy the web address to your new page.
  • Back to the Classroom to turn it in! Go to the assignment, view the assignmentment, then below the "Add" buttons, paste your link into private comments.
