Saint Frances of Rome School is a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Chicago. For almost ninety years, the school has empowered thousands of children providing them a comprehensive educational program that nurtures the mind, body and spirit while instilling the values of honesty, discipline and hard work.
For at least another ninety years, we hope to continue to educate the young and to provide them the necessary academic and moral foundation that will guide them to successful and happy lives. St. Frances of Rome is hosting its Mardi Gras Celebration to raise the funds necessary to serve the children of Cicero, Berwyn, Oak Park and Chicago.
The Mardi Gras Gala is the largest annual fundraiser held in support of St. Frances of Rome School. Our Gala this year will be held on March 1, 2014 and will bring together over 300 people from our local Cicero community and around Chicagoland in support of Catholic Education. The event features dinner, dancing, an open bar, a silent auction, and the drawing of the winner of our Grand Raffle.
This year, we welcome a special guest to the Mardi Gras Gala. Mr. Clement V. Martin, President of Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School, who will accept the "Saint Frances of Rome Catholic Education Award."
Our goal is to raise at least $50,000 at the 2014 Mardi Gras Gala. We need your help to make this event a success and hope you will consider contributing an item to be auctioned to the highest bidder or purchasing an ad for your business or community organization for our program book. Your gift will be acknowledged in our Gala Program, on our website, and in our newsletter. Your investment in Saint Frances of Rome School will ensure that Catholic education remains a viable option for families in this community.
