I am an associate professor in the Department of Economics at the University of The South in Sewanee, TN. 

I came to economics by way of mathematics with a deep appreciation for abstract economic modeling. As a PhD student, I was naturally drawn to Game Theory and General Equilibrium Theory, in large part because of the broad perspective that they provided me with.  My areas of teaching and research have expanded over the years but remain centered on economic theory and mathematical economics.
