To get back into the swing of things, we will begin by making TWO mix and match portraits. 

Not sure what I mean? Well, remember when you were a kid and read these types of books?

You will do the same with your classmates! Yay community! Let's get started!

Step 1: Grab a camera from the camera closet and you SD card.

Step 2: Using the same lighting, background and focal distance... photograph 3-4 portraits of your classmates. We are small, but still try to branch out. You can use the studio or take your photos outside. You can do a close up portrait of the face or a whole body, or BOTH since you are doing TWO.

Step 3: In one PS document  (8x10 in 300 ppi) create a NEW PORTRAIT by combining your images, like the example above. Cut your images horizontally. 

**Make sure the edges/side of the face LINE UP SMOOTHLY!!

*** Have FUN and GET CREATIVE and PLAY with expressions and posture.

Remember you are creating TWO mix and match portraits. At least one MUST be horizontal, but the second can be vertical or diagonal if you'd like a CHALLENGE!!!!

When you are done, save as JPG and submit on Canvas!
