Now that we are in 2nd semester, you are finding your voice as a photographer and artist. Let's practice your artist's signature and create a STAMP of your signature!
FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
Make a new blank document
Go to your brush tool and choose a HARD brush, size small, pure BLACK #0000
Select your rectangular marquee tool and select all around your signature
Edit > Define Brush Preset > LABEL it: YOUR NAME SIG > Click Okay
Command D to deselect
Voila, you have created brush preset STAMP!! Play with color, size, opacity, overlay and have fun!

FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1. Choose a portrait that you took or an image of a celebrity and drag it into PS. You can use Beyonce to practice below.
2. MAKE A NEW BLANK LAYER.
3. Use a hard brush, then adjust size accordingly. PAINT ON THE NEW LAYER!!!
4. Outline the person's face, hairline, nose, mouth, eyes... Use DIFFERENT SIZES to keep the eye moving and make it PRECISE! (hint: need a straight line? click point 1 then move mouse to point 2, hold down shift and CLICK on point 2)
5. When you are done, turn the background layer off.
6. Use the marquee tool to select the the WHOLE stamp.
7. Go to edit > define brush preset> name your brush!
8. Command + D to deselect, and voila! You have a new stamp!

Using YOUR stamp,
stamp your image large!
stamp your image small with another color!
stamp your image medium using a third color!
Stamp YOUR signature and add a gradient to it with different colors (this means it will need to be on its own layer!!!)

1) Make a new layer!!
2) Double click on the layer, so your layer style pops up.
3) Click on STROKE.
4) Change POSITION to INSIDE.
5) Adjust the fill type to Gradient:
6) Pick a gradient
7) . Stamp your brush again!!! SEE THE GRADIENT
