Working from the Rorschach test, let's make a kaleidescope!!
1. Open a 10 in by 10 in PS doc. (File > new)
2. Place your Rorschach image in the doc.
3. Make a equilateral triangle using the polygonal tool. Make sure it has a STROKE.
height is root 3 over 2
4. Hold DOWN COMMAND and CLICK on the polygon layer thumbnail. You will see the selection.
5. Click on the Rorschach layer and click command J.
6. Turn off the EYEBALL of the RORSCHACH and POLYGON LAYER..
7 Click on the triangle image layer, click COMMAND and J to duplicate the image.
Click Command and T to transform. Drag the anchor point to the center.
8. Go to Edit > Transform> Flip Horizontal.
9. Use the move tool to drag the image so the pieces touch.
Continue steps 7-9 until you have made a hexagon.
10. Once you have your CLEAN CRSIP POLYGON, select all the triangle layers by hold the shift key down and selecting them all:
11. Click Command and J to duplicate the ENTIRE POLYGON.
12. Click the LETTER V for the MOVE TOOL or COMMAND and T to transform.
13. Move your Hexagon to connect wth another.
14 Continue steps 10-13 until your whole page is filled with your image.
