Traditionally pinhole cameras are a tiny version of the camera obscura!
They have a very unique style and aesthetic.
They allow for very sharp images, but often have a dream like quality to them with vignettes.

For this assignment, you will be making your own digital pinhole camera.
To do this you need.:
Measure the center of your lens cap and mark it with a silver sharpie.
Drill a hole at that point. (To make sure not to break the bit, put a piece of scrap wood underneath the cap)
GENTLY push the pin through the pie tin or can.
Cut around the whole about 1in all around. (this can be a square)
Lightly sand the aluminum to make sure the hole is smooth.
Place the hole as close to the center of your camera body cap as possible. This will ensure sharper images.
Use the electrical tape to secure the aluminum to the cap.
Place an extra piece of tape over the hole... this will act as you shutter!!!
You can make your own pinhole camera that takes film using any light tight box!!! It can be round, big, small, cardboard... really any type of box!
