This is excellent PS practice for our next project. If you like this look/ effect, consider doing a series with sliding and weaving!!
Choose a fabulous portrait you have taken.
Make an 11x14 300 ppi PS document.
Place your portrait on it, but make sure there is space above and below it!
Turn it in as #_sliding_last name first name.jpeg
Here is a different look, but a very fun way to play with an image by sliding and slicing!
Place your portrait on an 11x14 300 ppi PS doc.
Using your marquee tool, cut your image into 3 parts.
To do this:
Select the top part of your image and Click command and J.
Repeat this for the other parts of the image.
Once you have selected the entire face, turn off the background layer.
Your layers should look something like this:
Move the center piece sideways.
Add another image (finger or person) to create the illusion of it being pushed.
Add a mask so it is a clean additon
