The Rho Zeta Research Grant is awarded to “encourage research by qualified nurses and/or nursing students who are learning to conduct research to advance knowledge in the area of nursing science.”
A call for applications is sent annually in early Spring to Rho Zeta email distribution list and posted to the chapter website.
The research award for $500 each is awarded annually at the May Chapter Meeting.
Selection criteria include that the applicant:
· Has a BSN or higher degree in Nursing or is a nursing student enrolled in a higher degree program in nursing.
· Demonstrates commitment to nursing as a career.
· Contribution of the research proposed to nursing science and public benefit, or research that aids the education of nursing students.
· Preference will be given to STTI members if all other attributes being equal.
