Information collected by SecureRunner

SecureRunner products are web based. Because of this they may require the use of first and last names, payment information, company name, a password and a valid email address as a login. At a minimum, we may require such necessary information during the registration process. SecureRunner will not share, sell, auction off or give away your personal information to any third-party or other organization without first obtaining your prior written consent. In order to provide our Services, we may collect the following types of information:

When you register to use our Services, we ask for Personal Information. Personal Information may include, but is not limited to, name, phone number, credit card or other billing information, email address and postal addresses. When we request payment information that we maintain in encrypted form on industry secure servers. We sometimes supplement the information that you provide with information that is received from third parties. For instance, if inaccurate postal or zip codes are received, we will use third party software to fix them.

We process your personal information only for specific and limited purposes. We ask only for data that is adequate, relevant and not excessive for those purposes. Some of these purposes may include to inform you of new services we will be providing, to send you requested product information and promotional material, and internally to help us improve our Services and to help resolve any problems.

When you use the Services, our servers automatically record information in relation to your documents. This information may document hashtag, the date the document was created, its author(s), and other document properties. We may download/store documents/content contained in your emails on our servers for the sole purpose of obtaining the functionality of the software.

Information Automatically Collected

When you use our Services, either online or using our apps, whether as a registered Account holder or a non-registered user just browsing, we automatically receive and record information about this use either directly or through third party tracking utility providers.

This may include information such as your computer's or device's IP address or ID, your browser type, operating system version, language settings, and how you use them, the web page you were visiting immediately prior to visiting our website, pages of our website that you visited, the time spent on those pages, information you searched for on our website, access times and dates, and other statistics.

We do not ask you for, access or track any location based information from your device. If we wish to do so in the future to enhance our Services, we will specifically ask your permission.                                                                       When you send email or other communication to SecureRunner, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our Services.       

User’s File

As a SecureRunner Account holder, you may send a User File to, or share a User File with, recipients identified by valid email addresses that you provide. SecureRunner forwards or sends email or other notifications to those recipients. These email addresses and notifications may be stored by SecureRunner for your future use and as part of transaction information we keep relating to User Files.                                                                                                 

We do not treat the names of User Files and Folders as Personal Information, so we recommend that you do not include any confidential or Personal Information in the names of User Files or Folders.

Email Address

We may use your email address, without further consent, for administrative communications such as notifying you of major Site updates, for customer service purposes, to address copyright infringement or defamation issues, or to contact you regarding any content that you have posted to or downloaded from the Site.

We may download/store documents/content contained in your emails on our servers for the sole purpose of obtaining the functionality of the software.

We may offer publicly accessible blogs or community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected and used by others who access them. To request removal of your personal information from our blog or community forum, contact us via one of the methods listed in this privacy policy. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why. SecureRunner users can post comments or messages to the SecureRunner website, such as on our blog and community forum, which may be available to the public. We recommend that you guard your anonymity and sensitive information and we encourage you to think carefully about what information about yourself you disclose in your comments or messages. Identity theft and the practice currently known as "phishing" are of great concern to SecureRunner. We do not and will not, at any time, request your credit card information, your account ID, login password, or national identification numbers in a non-secure or

SecureRunner does not have access to or control of any cookies that its advertisers may store in your browser and this Privacy Policy does not apply to the use of cookies or similar means by advertisers.

Choices for personal information:

When you sign up for Services we ask you to provide personal and contact information. If we use this information in a manner different than the purpose for which it was collected, then we will ask for your consent prior to such use. If we propose to use personal information for any purposes other than those described in this Policy and/or in the specific service notices, we will offer you an effective way to opt out of the use of personal information for those other purposes. Information security:

SecureRunner treats the privacy and security of Personal Information very seriously. We employ industry-standard administrative, physical and electronic measures to safeguard Personal Information submitted to us from unauthorized access. We encrypt the transmission of all Personal Information (including credit card information on our order forms) using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology and only store that information in secured data centers with restricted access.

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data.

We limit access to personal information about you to employees, contractors and agents who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information. Data integrity, accessing and updating personal information:

SecureRunner processes personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this Policy or any applicable service agreements. We review our data collection, storage and processing practices to ensure that we only collect, store and process the personal information needed to provide or improve our Services. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we process is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on our users to update or correct their personal information whenever necessary.

Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services, to provide the Services on our behalf and to perform website-related services ("Service Providers"). The types of Service Providers we use, include, without limitation, service providers that provide the following types of services: email delivery, credit card transactions, accounting, account verification, customer relationship management, marketing, webcasting, website maintenance, database management, web analytics and web and live chat hosting. International Transfer

Personal Information and Non-Identifying Information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside the United States, you should be aware that SecureRunner transfers Personal Information and Non-Identifying Information to the United States and processes it there. Your use of our Services represents your agreement to such transfer.

Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement

SecureRunner cooperates with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We will disclose any information about you and your User Files to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (including without limitation subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of SecureRunner or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we consider to be illegal or unethical. SecureRunner employees or representatives may access, but not view the contents of, your User Files when acting on behalf of SecureRunner as described in this paragraph.

Business Transfers

SecureRunner may sell, transfer, or otherwise share some or all of its business or assets, including your Personal Information and Non-Identifying Information in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets or in the event of bankruptcy.

Age Restrictions

Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use SecurerRunner Services, and we do not intentionally collect or maintain Personal Information from persons who are under the age of 13. By using SecurerRunner Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are between 13 and 17 years of age and have a parent’s or guardian’s permission to use SecurerRunner Services. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected Personal Information from a person under the age of 13 or a person between 13 and 17 years of age who does not have a parent’s or a guardian’s consent to use SecurerRunner Services, we will take steps to remove that person’s Personal Information permanently from our databases.

European Economic Area Principles:

In applying this Policy with respect to the collection of information from individuals located in the European Economic Area, processed on our servers we endeavor to comply with the following principles:

Data Integrity. SecureRunner will use personal information only in ways that are compatible with the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently authorized by the individual. SecureRunner will take commercially reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is relevant to its intended use, accurate, complete, and current to the extent appropriate for its intended use.

Access. Upon request, SecureRunner will grant individuals commercially reasonable access to personal information that it holds about them. In addition, SecureRunner will take commercially reasonable steps to permit individuals to correct, amend, or delete information that is demonstrated to be inaccurate or incomplete.

California Do Not Track Disclosure

SecureRunner does not track its customers over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. However, some third party sites do keep track of your browsing activities when they serve you content, which enables them to tailor what they present to you. If you are visiting such sites, your browser may have features that allow you to set the DNT signal on your browser so that third parties (particularly advertisers) know you do not want to be tracked

Third parties that have content embedded on SecureRunners websites such as a social feature, or a stock ticker may set cookies on a user’s browser and/or obtaininformation about the fact that a web browser visited a specific SecureRunner website from a certain IP address. Third parties cannot collect any other personally identifiable information from SecureRunner’s websites unless you provide it to them directly.

Access to, Rectifying and Deleting Your Personal Information

You are entitled, once a year, to request information from SecurerRunner about the Personal Information relating to you which is being processed by SecurerRunner and to request, where relevant, that such Personal Information is rectified by sending a notice to SecurerRunner at the following address:
