A Message from our President

Welcome to the Seaboard Region FJMC’s website. We hope you will find it interesting and informative. The website is a key means of keeping our Seaboard clubs and members in touch with one another and the larger organization. In a nutshell, it brings us together as a community and provides information about us, our goals, organization, objectives and bylaws. We hope you will use it, enjoy it and make visiting the website a habit. Everything you need to know about our clubs, our region and the FJMC organization is right here at your fingertips. Enjoy!!

The Seaboard Region

The Seaboard Region is comprised of 20 Men’s Clubs and Brotherhoods from the Tidewater area of Virginia to Northern Virginia, from Southern Maryland to Washington DC and its Maryland and Virginia suburbs and the upper Seaboard area including Baltimore and suburbs. Our Clubs organize programs at the synagogue level to provide meaning to their local communities.

Our club’s members come from all walks of life representing all age groups and a range of interests. As a region we pull together on many International programs. From our yellow candle program, to Hearing Men’s voices, to World Wide Wrap and Men’s Club Shabbat. These programs allow us to come together to be part of a true brotherhood.

The Seaboard region is operated by a board of Directors consisting of an executive board and the Presidents of the various clubs. We also have a past presidents council that lend their institutional knowledge.

Our Mission, Goals and Objectives

The Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs involves Jewish men in Jewish life by building and strengthening Men’s Club’s in the Conservative/Masorti Movement.

Seaboard Region has its own Goals and Objectives. We want to bring the Seaboard Region closer together as a community to grow our membership and clubs and to support our clubs every day. To learn more please see our bylaws on the website.

I look forward to meeting you soon. Please contact me directly with any questions, comments or concerns you may have.
