Welcome! I am pleased to have you in my class, and I am looking forward to a great year with all my students. Let me tell you a little bit about me: I grew up in San Diego and graduated from San Diego State University. I have been at Diegueño for 19 years. Before that I taught in Carlsbad and in Virginia. I have taught preschool, elementary, middle, and high school, but my favorite by far is 7th grade. At home, I have five cats, two dogs, and a husband. You will hear me talk about all of them in class! I love to read (of course!) and I also enjoy working in my yard, traveling, and staying healthy by being active and eating healthy foods. (My biggest weakness is chocolate, though!) I LOVE our school and wish all of you a successful and happy year!

Click on the "English 7 H.W. and Handouts" tab above to see the homework for the week and to get the handouts.  (Not all handouts will be available for you to print. Some you will have to get from me. I do not replace lost handouts, though, so keep track of them!)

Absent? Click on the "What To Do If You Are Absent" tab above.

I do accept some work late. Click on the "Late Work Policy" tab above to find out more.
