Seniors interested in attending
MiraCosta next fall
should come by the counseling office to sign up for the Early College Admissions and Placement program. Placement tests will be February 8 or 22 and the field trip is March 17. Click here for more info.

Classroom Presentations
Each year counselors do grade level presentations. Each presentation is done in the Fall and the Spring, depending on when the student has the class we are visiting. We try to be available before or after school or during lunch without an appointment. Just drop by! If you need to see a counselor for something urgent or serious, tell your teacher and come directly to the counseling office.

Counseling Mission Statement
The mission of the SDUHSD school counseling program is to ensure a safe and supportive environment in which all students acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed
 for academic, career and personal/social development to become life-long learners, creative thinkers, and responsible individuals.
We follow the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Model for a comprehensive counseling program.
 This model contains three categories: Academic, Career, and Personal/Social. Look in the left column for more indepth information, documents and links in each category.
