We try to be available before or after school or during lunch without an appointment. Just drop by! If you need to see a counselor for something urgent or serious, tell your teacher and come directly to the counseling office.

Counseling Mission Statement
The mission of the SDUHSD school counseling program is to ensure a safe and supportive environment in which all students acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed
for academic, career and personal/social development to become life-long learners, creative thinkers, and responsible individuals.
We follow the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Model for a comprehensive counseling program.
This model contains three categories: Academic, Career, and Personal/Social. Look in the left column for more indepth information, documents and links in each category.
