Member Rights

The SDFA Member Rights Booklet will outline many of your rights in administrative, parent, or student problems and some other employment situations as they might arise in and out of your classroom.  The information contained within it is especially helpful challenging, abusive, or volatile situation with an administrator, parent, and/or student.  However, do note that while this Booklet serves as an excellent resource, it can only cover some key areas in limited detail.  Always contact SDFA directly for more assistance, information and access to CTA Legal Department assistance.

The Member Rights Booklet, previously published in paper, is now available electronically to SDFA members and is advertised in bulletins and the first issue of the Vanguard newsletter each new school year.  For an electronic copy of the Booklet or for just some of the information included within it (see table of contents below), simply email SDFA at sdfa@sdfa.net.  For verification purposes, please email requests to SDFA using your District email.
