Mission Statement

The mission of Walter Turnbow Elementary is to provide a caring environment where each child is equipped with creative and critical thinking skills to achieve their highest potential.  All students actively contribute to society in a globally-minded way through emphasis on their social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.  As knowledgeable learners, students use inquiry to drive their learning and engage in the world around them.

International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) 
Mission Statement

The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to build a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools and governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

School Schedule

School Begins at 7:45 am.

Students are tardy if they come in after 8:00 am.. Parents must come in the office and check them in after 8:00 am.

School is dismissed at 3:00 pm.

All car riders are dismissed at the front of the building.

Buses leave from the back of the building.
