Economics Education

In schools throughout the nation, innovative teachers are providing high quality economic education through partnerships like Springdale School District  fostered with Economics Arkansas, National Council on Economic Education,  Winthrop University, and  the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Little Rock Branch.  Economics Arkansas encourages teachers to develop descriptions of their successful teaching practices, apply for grants and state awards,  and encourages replication of successful teaching in order to increase  K-12 economic literacy and wise decision-making of  all Arkansas students. Initiated by the National Task Force on Economic Education,  Springdale Public Schools join with  Economics Arkansas to co-host an annual fall and summer economic teacher training.
