Expectations

To provide consistency for the students, my classroom rules and disciplinary policy are aligned to the Four B’s, which are used throughout the school.

  • Be Safe: Keep hands, feet and objects to self. Use classroom materials appropriately.
  • Be Respectful: Cooperate with others. Communicate in a respectful way.
  • Be Responsible: Do your own work. Raise your hand to speak. Challenge yourself.
  • Be There, Be Ready: Be in your seat when the bell rings and working on the warm-up activity within one minute of the bell. Have all your materials, including completed homework and assignment notebook, with you in class every day.

Any student who fails to live up to these standards will be subject to the following consequences:

  1. Verbal warning
  2. A 2nd warning and a call home if the behavior continues after 1st warning
  3. Call home and classroom detention if the behavior continues after 2nd warning
