Saying Bye to a Special School Secretary,

This is Ms. Ryl’s last year at Patton School as our administrative/school secretary.

We are sad she is leaving and will miss her so we interviewed her to find out all kinds of things about her and why she is retiring and what she will be doing now.

2.HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED HERE?

8 years at Patton, 4 different places 20 years in the District.


3.WHAT SCHOOLS HAVE YOU WORKED  AT BESIDES PATTON AND DID YOU LIKE THEM OR NOT?

Olive 10 years, South 1 ½ year , Greenbrier 1 year, District office 1 year


4.WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS AT SCHOOL?

5.WHO WAS YOUR FAVORITE TEACHER?

Writing teacher


6.WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE CHILDREN'S BOOKS?

The Nancy Drew series, and Harry Potter


7.WHAT ARE SOME SPORTS YOU LIKE TO WATCH?

She likes to watch baseball and watch college basketball

do in your free time?

A: Walk, read, and hang out with family!


Q:What do you like to do when you are with your family?

A: In the summer go boating, play games, and go to musicals!


3.Question: Do you have a dog or other pet and if you do what breed is it and what is its name?

Answer: 2 dogs named Addison and Abigail.They are mutts\rescue.


Q: What is your favorite color in the rainbow?   

A. Purple


Q: What animals do you admire and why?

A. Elephants because they protect their young.


Q: What is your favorite food to cook and what do you like to eat at a restaurant?

A: restaurant=sushi

Baked goods and on Christmas she has a baking day.


Q: What is your favorite song and singer?

A: Proud Mary is her favorite song and she likes Billy Joel a lot.

A: To spend more time with family

A: Travel, volunteer and read.


Q: Did you like the teachers at Patton?

A: yes


Q: Do you have any trips planned after you retire?

A: Yes, the New Jersey Shore and a Panama Canal cruise.


Q: Are you sad that you are leaving?

A: Yes and no


Q: What are you most excited about after you retire?

A: "Having  freedom in my days"


Q: Are you going to work at a different school?

A: NO
