A photo of the storm damage
It was Friday, September 5, and we were happily playing outside at recess when out of nowhere, Boys and girls outside, please come inside, a storm is coming.” Mrs. Ryl’s voice came out of the speaker. We rushed to our lines, quickly got inside, feeling a little panic!! Once we got inside, our classroom lights started to flicker. Everyone screamed!! Then they flicked again and went out. Power out.Everyone was even more scared! Our teacher calmed us down. We grabbed our recess notebooks and went into the hallway. We sketched and played on the iPads. Then we went back into our classroom to start packing up to go home and we noticed the sun was out and the rain had stopped.
The power was not back on, but we were still all happy.
