Here’s your chance to participate behind-the-scenes at one of the world’s top road racing circuits
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

Imagine being in the action-packed race environment, answering fans’ questions and being a visible part of the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca team. We are looking for dedicated and personable volunteers who are excited about racing and passionate about contributing to the economic vitality of the Monterey Peninsula community.

The Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula (SCRAMP) operates the major race weekends at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. SCRAMP has been an active and highly visible part of the Central Coast since 1957, when local companies and scores of individuals contributed to make the facility a reality.

The SCRAMP "family" consists of thousands of volunteers, including a 25-member volunteer board of directors. These dedicated individuals come from all walks of life and across the tri-county area to make up the work force needed to stage the international motorsports events. Without such a dedicated volunteer base, these major events simply would disappear from the California landscape.

SCRAMP is also an official organization recognized by the President's Council on Volunteering. This means that clubs and volunteers are eligible for awards at the end of the year from this prestigious council.

Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is a not-for-profit 501(c)4 corporation. Each year, SCRAMP donates its net proceeds to the numerous volunteer groups that help stage the races
