Letter from the Parents Association

Dear Parents,

On behalf of the Parents Association we would like to take this opportunity to thank you and our sponsors for your kind support and generosity throughout the last number of years.  Without your help and generous donations we would be unable to continue with the various funding events that are so necessary for our school.

In the past we have fund-raised for buses for school tours, swimming lessons and choir concerts, Christmas parties, Confirmation and Communion presentations, school assessments, GAA match final refreshments, Sports day refreshments to name a few.  It is vital that we continue to get your support as without it many of the above activities would not be possible.

Our meetings, as you know, are held on the first Tuesday of every month at 8.00pm in the school.  Every parent is more than welcome to attend our meetings and we would be delighted to see more parents get involved.  It does not take a lot of time nor is it a big commitment.

As a committee, we appreciate all your involvement and support and we would like to take this opportunity again to thank you for your support.

Our AGM was held on 5th September and our very hard working team of last year have stepped down and a new team have been elected to bring us through 2017/2018 school year.  We have big shoes to fill and hope we can continue the great work of the outgoing committee.

Our new committee members are as follows:

   Agnes Cleary – Chairperson

   Lorraine Dunne – Secretary

   Claire Malone – Treasurer

   Shirley Keegan – Assistant Chairperson

   Liz McDonnell – Assistant Secretary

   Annette Kloeckner – Assistant Treasurer

   Miriam Jones – PRO

Annette Kloeckner – National Parents Council Representative

Thank you for your continued support.

Yours sincerely,

Lorraine Dunne – Secretary
Killeigh NS Parents Association
