Sports Day 2019

posted Jun 21, 2019, 2:57 AM by Owen Breslin

Unfortunately it was a wet day that greeted our Sports day last Friday 14th June. Undeterred the boys and girls braved the conditions and had great fun completing a cut down version of our annual sports day. As usual our fantastic parents association were on hand to help with drinks and with some of the stations. Thanks to our parents association and also to Ms Moriarty and Ms Dunne for their hard work organising the day.

posted Jun 3, 2019, 3:03 PM by Owen Breslin

There was a very enjoyable presentation night recently when Mr White collected on behalf of Killeigh NS, a cheque for €16,000 from Fáile Vintage club. We are very grateful to Fáile Vintage club for selecting our school to be one of the main beneficiaries of this years tractor run. We also wish to express our gratitude to everyone who helped out with the event and with the fundraising effort. This is a fantastic sum of money to receive and we plan to spend it wisely.

Aldi Rugby gear

posted May 31, 2019, 6:00 AM by Owen Breslin

Aldi recently ran a promotion with a prize fund of 50,000 euro. Parents kindly brought in stickers to enter and we ended up filling 5 huge posters with them. Unfortunately we have not won the 50,000 euros, however we have received 5 boxes full of sports equipment including rugby balls, sports bottles and a kit bag. Thanks to everyone for all their help sending  in stickers, without which we would not have received the above gear.
