Welcome Back to School!

Welcome Students and Families to the 2014-2015 School Year! We hope you all have had a wonderful summer- we are so excited to see all of you on September 4th! Please note the following important information about the first day of school (also included in the mailings sent home at the end of July):

• The school day begins each day at 8:20, and school is dismissed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 3:10. On Wednesdays, there is early dismissal at 1:26.
• School uniforms are currently available for purchase at Ideal Department Store, located at 1816 Flatbush Avenue/ Phone: 718.252.5090. Please consult the SCCS Uniform Policy (Located under Policy and Procedures) for details.
• 7th and 8th Grade students should report to their Advisories for first period on the first day of school. New students and 6th graders should report to the auditorium. SCCS staff will be greeting students in the main lobby and directing them to their first period.
