Step 3: Storyboard

Break the script up into the storyboard

• Each part will be illustrated with one picture

• Breaks can be in the middle of a sentence or at the end.

• Rule of thumb for the number of pictures

  • Short sentence = no more than 1 picture

  • Long sentence = no more than 2-3 pictures

• Still images should be on the screen at least 2 seconds for viewers to process

Text can be included on a slide

• Slide with text should be visible long enough to read the text twice.

• Text color should be in sharp contrast with color behind it.

Script I chose: Version 4: He obliterated my house. I am a master weaver of straw. The house I created was exquisite and one of a kind. It took me years to design and construct. Then the wolf stole into town and huffed and puffed and blew it to smithereens. Now he’s roaming our town. Who will be his next victim?
