Practice Material

Each exam will have a Part I/Part II component, for which Part I questions will be made available on the Exams Page Table.  The final exam will be cumulative and not have a two-part format.

To review material from 151, it is suggested that you use the Fall 2011 Final Exam Review Sheet.  Old exams, quizzes and homeworks from the previous semesters, including practice problems and partial solutions can be found here.

Your course will include material on trig/inverse trig functions as well as hyperbolic/inverse hyperbolic trig functions. There is a useful review of inverse trigonometric functions here and a review of hyperbolic trig functions here.

Please note that this material is intended for practice only, and not to be used as a template for your exam.  For example,
  • YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN A FORMULA SHEET
  • proofs and derivations of results may be asked
  • there may be greater/fewer problems on your midterm than previous years
There are also weekly clinics with Dr. Sara Soffer.  The 152 clinics are extra help sessions in an informal setting during which students can ask any question, practice and go over the material as a study group or working session.
  • Tuesdays, 2:00-3:00 in ARC-328
  • Fridays 3:00-4:00 in HILL-124
No clinics will be held on 21 Feb, 09 Mar, 06 Apr, and any emergency snow days/class cancellations.
