The National Geographic Bee - Grades 4 & 5





THE NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC BEE

Are you interested in learning about places all over the world?  Do you like to learn about states, capitals, countries and continents?  Are you inspired by physical, political, environmental and economic maps?  Then, maybe The National Geographic Bee (Geo Bee) is for you!  The contest is designed to inspire students to be curious about the world.  Students in grades four and five may sign up to participate in the GeoBee with Mrs. Wurst.  Our school Geo Bee will be held during the months of November and December. This contest is designed to inspire students to be curious about the world.  Students in grades four and five may sign up to participate in the GeoBee with Mrs. Wurst.  Our school Geo Bee will be held during the months of November and December 2019.

1.   Students in grades 4 and 5 may compete in the preliminary Geo Bee.

2.   As a result of the preliminary Geo Bee, 10 to 12 students will compete in the finals.

3.   1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be recognized

4.   1st place winner is eligible to take the online state qualifying test
