Students use the link below to complete the Space Race Activity for class.
The new project will be introduced on Wednesday. It is a two part project that allows for student creativity when they create a "Hooverville" shanty home and keep a journal to show their understanding of the information we have given them in class. The New Deal part will allow students to see how President Roosevelt attempted to help a struggling nation by enacting government programs. Students will look at the goal of specific programs and if those programs still exist today.
Forgive me for not posting more consistently on here. Your students should have a little home work this weekend. If you can help them set aside 2 hours of time, that would be VERY beneficially for them to complete what I've asked them to complete. I'll upload the project description to the forms and docs link. Thanks for your help and thanks to the students for taking time to work on this!
On Tuesday we will have our Unit 2 test from western expansion to industrial revolution. A review guide will be given on Friday and time allowed in class to work on it. Please encourage your student to study over the weekend. Monday we will review.
Students have been given a new project that is due on MARCH 16th. Information on this project can be found in the forms and docs link, under "western expansion and industrial revolution."
Monday will be a test, so students will need to study hard over the weekend. If they do the review sheet (forms and docs link) the test will be a breeze.
Below are the websites students will use for resources and outline of the project.

www.sparknotes.com (search for Federalists and Anti-Federalist Papers)
We are starting our new project over the middle ages. I have posted the description in the forms and docs section. Feel free to look over it and be checking the site for upcoming due dates.
Roman Projects are DUE Tomorrow the 20th at the end of the hour. The 9th grade homework policy is in effect for this.
Presentations are on Wednesday and student should be preparing for those!
Instead of students turning in things on the 16th...I originally said the 23rd. BUT with presentations being on the 21st. I'm having students turn in their FULL projects on the 20th. This will allow them to both turn in their best work and structure their presentations accordingly.
Due on the 20th:
-Should have a presentation done on or before this day too.
