Vanessa Finnegan '17Vanessa Finnegan is a senior creative writing major and dance teaching minor. During her four years at Sweet Briar College she has performed in every SBC dance concert on the college’s main stage in Babcock (and in nearly all of the smaller dance studio theater concerts). Vanessa believes that anything to do with dance is, for her, one of the most enjoyable and worthwhile ways to spend her time. From a very young age Vanessa danced on her own, exploring movement with her sisters and performing for family. As a young adult she rediscovered dance and its immense ability to open endless doors into her own imagination. She hopes to be able to help others discover in themselves all that dance has discovered in her, and more.
