John J. Carey, STEM Education,
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) at Lebanon High School consists of several course offerings:

Technology Education
Technology Education deals with construction and manufacturing. Students will be involved with designing projects ranging from simple sketches to computerized modeling. With the completion of the planning project and review of safety and machine processes, students will create a variety of projects that reflect their design goals. This course is primarily populated with Freshmen students. Technology Education Course Syllabus

Wood Technology..
Wood Technology applies previously learned skills into an introductory, light manufacturing environment. Wood Technology leverages Math, Reading, Writing, Design and critical decision making skills into the overall course experience. Wood Technology offers the student the opportunities to explore the use of wood as a medium of construction and explore many facets of a workplace environment. This course is primarily populated with students (10-12th grade) who have already taken Technology Education. Wood Technology Course Syllabus

Applied Engineering
AE (Applied Engineering) Explores the role of Engineering in our technical life environment. This course is designed to provide students with real world learning, and hands on experience.  Engineering, green technology, aeronautics and other applied math and science areas will be introduced in a challenging but interesting way.  Students will work individually and in groups on different engineering tasks. Activities can range in scale from very simple to complex, but all will exhibit the same processes of planning and execution. This course is primarily populated with 11-12th grade students and is a Level III Science course. STEM Education through Applied Engineering
