Preschool Program Overview

Beginnings preschool is located in both Hanover Street School and Mount Lebanon School. Both programs have two sessions; one for 3 year old children and one for 4 year old children. All age-appropriate children residing in the Lebanon School District are eligible to apply. Parents of preschoolers serve as "helping parents" in the classroom, lending extra help to the class. Our early childhood environment fosters growth and learning for all children through a variety of experiences.

The preschool program involves children in a rich social atmosphere with many language opportunities. The children participate in a theme and literacy based program with songs, finger plays, book-look time, imaginary play, art projects and small and large muscle activities. Our goal is to be as prepared as possible to meet your child’s individual needs. We look forward to us all getting to know each other and participate in the wonders of early childhood school experiences. We encourage families to reach out to us with any questions, thoughts, or concerns. Each day, we aim to achieve a safe, warm, and nurturing environment where each child’s uniqueness shines.
