Who We Are
The Adult Learner Services Program offers adults free, confidential, one-to-one and small group instruction in basic reading, writing, math, English for speakers of other languages (ESOL), and preparation for the high school equivalency exam (HiSET). Volunteer tutors work in partnership with their students to reach individual educational goals.
Responsive to local needs- eager to meet the needs of individuals, businesses, and the community
A great value
The heart of the program lies in one-to-one tutoring. Meetings with the volunteer tutor are private and happen at a time and place that is mutually convenient. Many people find they flourish with personalized attention they receive.
English for Speakers of Other Languages
Classes in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) help adults improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Improve your basic skills
Would you or someone you know like to improve reading, writing, or math skills? Whether you want to read to a child or get a better job, Adult Basic Education teachers/tutors can help you reach your goals.
