About BES

Belmont Elementary School is located in Belmont, New Hampshire, which is in the central part of the state in the Lakes Region. The school has approximately 465 students in pre-school through grade four.

Our exemplary staff members dedicate themselves daily to the establishment of a learning environment that supports the intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of the children. Academic units are developed which incorporate all subject areas under specific topics. Fine arts, theater, dramatic performances, puppet shows, music, dance and movement are incorporated into academic units in individual classrooms, as well as on a school-wide basis. Through these artistic expressions of learning students are encouraged to use higher order thinking skills.
