Middle School students will receive homework on a regular basis for several reasons: to complete work started in class, to provide opportunity for practice, to demonstrate competency of a skill, to explore supplemental materials, and to work on and complete longer term assignments. When homework is assigned, it is expected students will make a genuine effort to complete and turn it in on time. See the school handbook for further detail regarding the middle school homework policy.
