Hello Third Graders,

My name is Mrs. Mason, and I am excited to know that I am going to be your third grade teacher!

We are going to have a wonderful year together.

I am looking forward to learning more about you during our school year together. Here are a few things you may find interesting to know about me. I love scrap booking and gardening. I have a cat named Paws, a dog named Indy, and a daughter who will be attending college in Boston, MA this fall. Most importantly, I love teaching, and I love children.

This summer I plan on spending some time at the beach and have planned a trip to Martha's Vineyard. I'm also looking forward to time at home just relaxing and reading some good books. "The more you read, the more you know."

Throughout the summer I will also be preparing for the school year. As a third grader you will acquire many new skills as will as improve on those you already have. It is going to be a lot of fun, but you will be expected to work hard and do your best.

I hope that you have a terrific summer vacation. I cannot wait to begin our school year together in the fall. Please don't forget to mark your calendar for Chamberlain's Open House scheduled for Wednesday, September 5th, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
