Periodical Collection

Our periodical collection provides the best source of current up-to-date print materials we have to supplement the curriculum. Periodicals are used extensively in term paper research, background information for essays, debates, oral and written reports, speeches, research projects, reviews, etc.. Departments use periodicals to supplement their texts and in teacher preparation. We pull back issues for student and staff research purposes.  Periodicals are also an important source of good information as well as wholesome recreational reading for our students.  With the literacy across the curriculum initiative and our push to increase the reading skills of our students, periodicals represent one of the best sources for many students.
