CSDA Library News:

Welcome to the CSDA Library! I am looking forward to meeting new 4th grade students and seeing returning 5th and 6th grade students. We will begin book checkout the first day of school. Information regarding library use will be given to 4th graders and new students during the first week of school. Parents interested in volunteering in the library may sign up during open house and information will also be included in the weekly newsletter. Thank you for considering volunteering in the library.

We have a lot planned for this coming year including author visits, book fairs and weekly library visits with information literacy lessons and enrichment units planned.

Please follow the links above to discover a number of student and parent resources. Of interest is Scienceflix, our science database, EBSCOHost which provides full text articles from thousands of magazines, journals, and newspapers and NoveList K-8 which includes information about fiction books including reviews, read alikes, and links to authors websites. Destiny is our library catalog which can be accessed anywhere.

I am looking forward to an enjoyable and productive school year! Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can be of assistance in any way.
