Are you a senior, who has participated in an NHIAA sport for all 3 seasons for all 4 years ? If yes, stop by the AD Office to see if you are eligible to be recognized as an 
NHIAA 3 SPORT ATHLETE
Names needed prior to April 20th.

             The criteria for receiving an award:

  • Senior who has participated in an NHIAA sanctioned sport for each season of their high school career (12 total). 
  • This participation can be at any level, not just varsity.  This includes freshmen as well as junior varsity; it also includes managers, scorers, etc.

WINTER SPORTS SURVEY

The survey answers will be reviewed by the Athletic Director and one other senior school administrator (i.e. principal or vice principal). Coaches will receive a summary of the responses. Your individual answers are confidential and your name will not be included in the feedback provided by the athletic department to the coaches. Your name on the survey is necessary to verify that the person responding was actually a participant in the sport. Also, if there is a significant issue that should be addressed by the administration, you may be confidentially contacted for additional details. Any survey without a name on it will have to be discarded.

IMPORTANT: MANDATORY IMPACT TESTING
All HBHS student-athletes are now required to take the baseline ImPACT test, PRIOR to trying out or the first practice of their sport.  Please click on the links below for Scheduled Testing Dates, Parental Permission Form, and the Parental Waiver Form. 

SPRING SPORTS TESTING WILL TAKE PLACE DURING CAV BLOCKS.  
PLEASE CLICK 'SPRING SCHEDULE' BELOW TO FIND YOUR TEAMS TESTING DAY.

Please contact the trainer, Jessie Hilton (jessie.hilton@sau41.org) if you need to set up an after school appointment

In order to complete the test, athletes must be present on their team testing day, with $10 fee (checks payable to HBHS) and Parental Permission Form. If athlete cannot attend their 
scheduled team testing day, they can attend the make-up day or notify the Athletic Director at rhon.rupp@sau41.org

Athletes WILL NOT be allowed to participate in try-outs or practices unless they have completed the ImPACT Test or have a Parental Waiver on file with the Athletic Office. Once the test has been taken, it is good for 2 years.

In order to tryout for a spring sport you must complete the following:
* Registration thru myschoolbucks.com
* pay the athletic fee
* have a current physical ( less than 2 yrs old for 10th-12th graders, less than 1 yr old for freshmen)
   on file with the nurses office
* have taken the impact testing or have parent signed waiver
* taking 5 classes currently in the 3rd quarter and have passed 4 classes in the 2nd quarter

    Fall Sports Awards Night will be this evening, November 9th, at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium.

    ALL WINTER ATHLETES need to sign up and register on www.myschoolbucks.com

    HBHS will be hosting speaker, Jack Renken of Recruiting Realities, on Tuesday, November 15th, at 7:00 PM in the Auditorium.

    There will be a pre-season meeting for all athletes interested in participating in Indoor Track and Field.  The meeting will be after school today, November 9th, at 2:30 PM in room 304.

    Impact Testing for the Bowling team will be tomorrowNovember 10th, during Cav Block.

    WEEKEND RESULTS
    Congratulations to the Girls Volleyball team for winning the NHIAA Division I Volleyball Championship at Pinkerton Academy on Saturday night.  The girls defended their State title by beating Concord by a score of 3-1.  Set scores were 12-25, 26-24, 25-14, and 25-15. Top performers were Kyra Belden (4 aces), Maddie Norris (18 kills), Hannah Balfour (45 assists, 10 digs), Rachel Bill (8 blocks, 8 kills) and Sammie Sheppard (11 digs). Congratulations to the team and coaches for their 3rd Division I title in the last 6 years.

    The Spirit Squad has cheered for the Football team throughout the Fall season, as well as competing in Invitational competitions.  On Sunday they competed in the Division II State Cheer Championships at Pinkerton and finished in 10th place. 

    The Football team traveled to Windham to face the #1 seeded Jaguars and were defeated 52-7.  They finish the season at 7-3.

    RESULTS: Wednesday 11/2
    The Volleyball team advances to the Div I Championships for the 2nd straight year by defeating Exeter 3-0, in the semi-finals. Scores were: 25-21,25-17 and 25-23.  Top performers were Maddie Norris (18 kills), Elizabeth Atkinson (8 kills), Hannah Balfour (33 assists, 3 blocks) and Sammie Sheppard (3 aces, 19 digs). The Championship game will be played Saturday at 5:00 PM at Pinkerton Academy against Concord.

    GAMES: Saturday 11/5
    Football @ NHIAA Division II Quarter-Final Game (11:00 AM bus, 1:30 PM start at Windham)
    * Admission fee charged by the NHIAA for this event ($7 - Adults, $5 - Students and Senior Citizens)

    Cross Country @ Meet of Champions (1:10 PM bus, 2:30 PM Girls Race, 3:20 PM Boys Race at Nashua South)

    Volleyball @ NHIAA Division I Championship vs. Concord (TBA bus, 5:00 PM start at Pinkerton)
