Physical Education is an integral part of the total education of every child. Physical Education is based upon the acquisition of knowledge and skills that are the foundation for engaging in physical activity. Through the medium of sport and movement all students will participate in a sequential, developmentally appropriate program that fosters each student's personal health and fitness. Through exposure to a wide variety of activities, students will acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes and confidence necessary to adopt and maintain a physically active, healthy lifestyle.
