MVS Happenings

Important dates to remember:

The month of May has a lot to offer.........  

Our annual Memorial Day Parade is Friday, May 25th at 9 AM.  We begin at the school and finish at the Methodist Church.  Come support our school and watch our parade.

Friday May 25th is our community service day at MVS.  Students take pride in our school and show their support by helping in the gardens.  The 6th grade does roadside clean-up.

No School on Monday, May 28th in honor of Memorial Day.

Community Elves begins during school vacation.  Be sure to log your hours of work and volunteer time and earn two free tickets to Santa's Village. Log sheets are due on Friday, May 25th.

Kindergarten and Pre School registration starts now for the 2018-2019 school year. To be eligible for Kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 30 and must be a resident of Milan or Dummer. If your child currently attends MVS Prekindergarten, it is not necessary to register.

 We are also accepting registrations for Preschool (3 year olds) and Prekindergarten (4 year olds) for those not currently attending MVS.

The Milan Village School Student Council is asking for your help with our local food pantries.
  If you like to participate, have your child bring in nonperishable items.   Each item he or she brings in enters them in a monthly drawing to win a gift certificate to the Milan Luncheonette.  The winners will be announced at the end of the month.  Thank you for your participation!
