MVS Happenings

 Milan Village School Kindergarten Registration

Parents of children eligible for kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year are asked to call Milan Village School to register their child.  To be eligible for Kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 30 and must be a resident of Milan or Dummer.  If your child currently attends MVS Prekindergarten, it is not necessary to register.

We are also accepting registrations for Preschool (3 year olds) and Prekindergarten (4 year olds) for those not currently attending MVS.

Please call the school before April 7th at 449-3306 to register your child.

Ski Program was a huge success!!  Thank you to all the volunteers who helped chaperon our skiers and snowshoers.  We couldn't have done it without you. PLEASE BE SURE TO SUBMIT YOUR VOLUNTEER HOURS.  YOU CAN DO THIS BY FILLING OUT THE "Volunteer" SECTION IN THE MONTHLY NEWSLETTER.  OR, YOU CAN SUBMIT IT ELECTRONICALLY ON THE MVS WEBSITE BY CLICKING ON "PTO" AND ANSWERING THE QUESTIONS!!  

Everyone did a fantastic job at the Talent Show.  You are all rock stars!!

 March 24th is Family Fun Night.  Come to the MVS gym to watch a movie at 6:30 PM.

Girl Scouts will have an open house sign up on March 28th at MVS at 6:00 PM.  What a great way for your daughter(s) to be involved!!

Celebrate Reading Week is the week of March 27th.  Book Fair is Wednesday, March 29 at 6:30.  See you there.

Winter weather update:
The snow has arrived!!  Please be sure your child is coming to school prepared with snow pants and boots.  This is a must in order to participate is all recess activities when snow is on the ground.
 PLEASE NOTE:  There have been changes in the costs of hot lunch and breakfast.  Lunch is now $2.60 and breakfast is $1.60.
