This website has been created to be a source for teachers and families at East Kingston Elementary School, to further everyone's understanding of the Common CORE and the Smarter Balanced Assessment. The history of how the Common CORE came to be can be found by clicking "Common CORE Standards", on the left hand side. Also, under websites, families can read about skill expectations by the grade level of their child. This site will grow and change in time, but I hope it serves as a place where teachers can share resources with each other and families, and fine tune their already wonderful instruction!

If you are looking to access the Smarter Balanced Practice Tests, or to view the recent Smarter Balanced Presentation at our school, please click on the Helpful Websites tab.  Both of these items are listed at the top of that page.
