2015 Saskatchewan Paddling Symposium

In Memory of Vinessa Currie-Foster

It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to Vinessa Currie-Foster. Her death on April 24th hung heavy over our hearts throughout the symposium. She would have loved to see so many people together, celebrating paddling, and being brought closer as a paddling community, reaching out to embrace new members in that community.

April 25th, Prairieland Park, Saskatoon SK

This is Saskatchewan’s second annual paddling symposium. Help us celebrate paddling in the province by coming out and showing your support. Canoeists, Kayakers, SUP, are all welcome. You’ll enjoy speakers talking on topics of interest to paddlers, demonstrations, and interactive workshops. Participate in the silent auction, take in the paddlers trade show, there’s even going to be a canoe & kayak show and shine.

A big thank you to Churchill River Outfitters who donated the following raffle prize for our event!

Common Currents Paddling Association (CCPA) was formed in the fall of 2014 with the purpose of organizing a yearly paddling symposium. We are a group of Saskatchewan paddlers, urban and rural, who enjoy all means of paddle sports. We are a non-profit organization and work cooperatively with the paddling and outdoor industry community to celebrate, grow and support Saskatchewan paddling activities. The Symposium is the CCPA’s main outreach activity to carry out this mission.
