Entry information for the 2017 Northwestern Open, to be held April 8th and 9th in Prince Albert, has now been added to the Competition Info page. To qualify for the Early-bird entry fee discount, be sure to enter online before 10:00 pm on Friday, March 31st.
In conjunction with the tournament, the Prince Albert Northern Knights Fencing Club is hosting a Saturday evening supper and social to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Details are provided on the second page of the information sheet, which can be found on the Competition Info page.
Wheelchair Sabre and Wheelchair Epee events will be held - enter by clicking the appropriate boxes on the online entry form. Entry in the corresponding Open event(s) grants you free entry into the Wheelchair event(s).
Although using the online competition registration form requires a valid CFF licence, the Team Challenge is open to ALL SFA members, whether or not you have a CFF licence. If you wish to fence at the Team Challenge and don't have a CFF licence, just come to the Salle before 9:30 am on Saturday. Please bring a credit card so that you can pay the registration fee (at the Early-bird rate).
Entry information for the 2017 Team Challenge, to be held at Salle Seguin in Saskatoon on Saturday, March 18th, has now been added to the Competition Info page. Note that the Early-bird entry deadline is 10:00 pm, Friday, March 17th.

A wheelchair fencing rules/referee clinic will be held on Friday, March 3rd, from 7:30 to 9:00 pm, at Cochrane High School, 1069 E. 14th Ave., in Regina (the Sask Open venue). The clinic is open to all referees, coaches, athletes, and parents who are interested in wheelchair fencing. The clinician is Paralympian Sylvie Morel. There is no fee to attend the clinic, interested persons should contact John Brunning at email@example.com.
Entry information for the 2017 Sask Open Provincial Championships, to be held in Regina on Saturday, March 4th and Sunday, March 5th, has now been added to the Competition Info page. Note that the Early-bird entry deadline is 10:00 pm, Friday, February 24th.
Gold medal matches for Saturday's wheelchair and open events will be held at a gala dinner on Saturday evening.
Tickets for the gala are $25.00 per person. Payment is by cash only and may be made on the day of the event, but tickets must be reserved by emailing Corrine Varga at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than February 28th. (Saturday finalists get their meal for free.)
