We believe that children who learn about environmental issues will become more conservation-conscious, develop empathy for such issues and grow up to become informed adults. No matter how young, it is important that everyone learn that we can all make a difference in our world.

The Golden Gondola

Illustrated by Will Stevens.

Using the story theme from her original novel, Venice Escape: Maria’s Golden Gondola Adventures, Sandra has developed an engaging story in verse about an orphan called Maria, that is certain to amuse both young and old.  This lonely schoolgirl meets an elegant lion who has magical powers to take her on adventures around the world, to experience different kinds of food and music from different periods in history.
