Greetings

Welcome to our English class! This course balances reading classical texts with more contemporary literary works while we build knowledge through content-rich nonfiction. Furthermore, we use reading, writing, and speaking grounded in evidence from text, both literary and informational. Finally, we engage in regular practice with complex texts and their academic language. If you have any questions, or if I can serve you in any way (within reason), please come by 509 or reach out to me via channels under "Contact & Social Media" under Courses and Introduction in the horizontal toolbar.
