Global Learning

Welcome to a Global Learning Digital Space!

Global collaborative projects are an exciting way to engage your students in authentic and meaningful learning across cultures and continents. The goal is to connect students  by developing authentic projects that allow your students to interact with partners around the world to begin learning from each other and collaborating on projects together. They will feel connected to the world around them.

Successfully combining a variety of web 2.0 tools (like blogs, wikis, Voicethread, etc) plays an important role in promoting the kinds of networking, collaboration and global awareness that will become a regular part of tomorrow's learning.

The Global Project wiki fosters communication, collaboration and creation, enforcing the four main skills of the language: reading, writing, speaking and listening.  It includes several short projects which you will find on the sidebar: Book Conversations, World Soccer Cup , Digital Connections, Cyberbullying and Heroes.

Does it sound interesting? Read on! And if you’d like to participate in one of these projects, please fill in the form or contact us: Alejandra or Marta

This project starts in May/June 2010 and schools can participate any time until December 2010. We have started off with the World Soccer Cup Project, the Book Conversations wiki and writing collaborative stories.  Now it is time to collaborate with new projects, so we are starting with My Hero Project, Digital Connections and finally Cyberbullying!
Hope you enjoy them!
