The Carib Indians (also known as the Kalinago) are a unique people habituated in the Northeast corner of this Eastern Caribbean nation. With the assistance of medical students from Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) and devoted medical personnel from the area, SMP strives to enrich the lives of the disadvantaged Carib people.
Aside from recurring clinic visits by students, SMP is currently involved in fundraising events, annual Health Fairs, a Women's Health initiative and more. Our weekend visits at our newly built clinic provides Ross students with a hands-on experience that is unlike any other club on campus has to offer. Salybia 5k is coming up on Saturday March 23rd, 2013. Sign up at the tables by the ATM near the Shacks during lunch. There is also raffle with great prizes. It is 50ec to enter the race and 1 raffle ticket for 5ec or 5 for 20ec.
