Welcome Mr. Wilkes!  He is beginning his first year with us as our Assistant Principal.  Mr. Wilkes was most recently the Band Director at Salem High School.  Prior to that he worked as an Instructional Coordinator in Roanoke City Schools.  We are very excited to have him join us at GWC!

Also, some of you may noticed my last name has changed!  I got married last February, so everyone here is trying to get used to calling me Mrs. Schmidt instead of Ms. Shepherd.

Our Mission:  To provide a positive educational experience that puts children first.
