What's happening in first grade.

December 12, 2017

Hello Everyone!

We are continuing subtraction in Math. If you haven't already bought flashcards, it is a great idea.
We are now learning about continents and oceans, all part of the Social Studies chapter on land forms.
AR testing is very successful!!  Please keep reading with them at home and ask them questions about the book. If you are not noticing the AR result papers coming home, encourage your child to take the test. Most of the children are on their way to the "5 Point Club."
Great News! We are able to write in the Religion books. The children are very excited, it makes such a difference in the discussion and understanding.

*Please make sure that any books that are sent home are returned the next day. This includes the hard cover Anthology and the little Guided Reading books. These are shared within the classroom and are often needed the following day.

Thank you for your support! You know where to find me with any questions.
